This is the eighth meeting of a series of breakfasts to be held in Mexico City under the auspices of the Gulf Coast Power Association (GCPA). On this occasion the Women's Energy Network - Chapter Mexico has joined efforts with GCPA and launched a calling for this meeting. At this breakfast, we will discuss the impact of the July 1st Election in the future implementation of the Energy Reform.
Dr. Duncan Wood is the director of the Mexico Institute at the Wilson Center. Prior to this, he was a professor at ITAM in Mexico City, as well as an editorial advisor to Reforma and El Universal newspapers and a member of the editorial board of Foreign Affairs Latinoamérica. Dr. Wood has been a Senior Associate with the Simon Chair and the Americas Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C. The focus of his research is Mexican energy policy, including renewable energy, and North American relations.
