After receiving an M.A. in Counseling from Sam Houston State University, his commitment to excellence and growth has led him to serve numerous Fortune 500 executives, high-profile professional athletes, leading education professionals, and government officials.

In the corporate arena, Lee’s expertise has been focused on developing executives and senior leadership in some of the world’s highest performing companies such as Great American Financial Resources Inc., United Technologies Corporation, ITT Defense, Cerberus Capital Management, Spark Energy, DynCorp International, NextEra Energy, and Florida Power and Light. He has provided consulting and training services to senior management in organizations globally throughout the United States, Australia, Europe, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Qatar, Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Puerto Rico.

Having worked with sports industry clients such as the New York Yankees, Dallas Cowboys, New York Mets, Arizona Diamond Backs and Texas A&M football, Lee continues to consult some of the top athletes in the world. These sports clients currently fill the rosters of several D-1 athletic programs and professional teams such as the Arizona Cardinals and New Orleans Saints.

Lee fully commits himself to the success of his clients and the impact of his effort is seen not only in his client’s professional lives, but also in the enduring mark it leaves on their personal lives. For Lee, the goal of leadership is other’s success.

Lee and his wife Janie – an orientation and mobility specialist, serving visually impaired children and adults – have been married for over 33 years. The Basons currently reside in College Station, Texas.
