"Waking Up from a DREAM: Progress Thus Far on Integrating DG into the ERCOT Marketplace"

Distributed resources have quietly existed among traditional resources, offering enhanced reliability and/or reduced cost for consumers who embrace them.  With capital costs of DG falling and installations rising, ERCOT and ERCOT stakeholders have investigated ways to better align wholesale market rules with the operational and economic characteristics of  distributed generation. This meeting will review what the Distributed Resource Energy and Ancillary Market Task Force (DREAM) has learned thus far, and discuss next steps, as observed by the Chairman of the Task Force.
