Houston March 2017 Luncheon

“Federal Energy Policy for the New Congress and from the New President”

Join us for lunch in Houston and hear our speaker Christi Tezak, Managing Director at ClearView Energy Partners, discuss the developing themes in federal energy policy. Slow confirmations, promised regulatory rollbacks, tax reform, federal and state policy tensions and a quorum-less FERC are all key ingredients in a swirling soup of energy policy uncertainty.

Christine Tezak is a veteran energy analyst who leads ClearView’s coverage of electricity markets, interstate pipelines, energy infrastructure and U.S. environmental policy. Her two decades of experience in electric utility and natural gas pipeline sectors enable her to craft prescient, timely and impactful analysis, particularly as energy and environmental issues have converged. Prior to joining the Firm, Christine was a senior research analyst at Robert W. Baird & Co. and a senior vice president with the Washington Research Group. She has testified before the FERC and the U.S. House of Representatives and is Past President of the Washington, D.C.-based Women's Council on Energy & the Environment. She remains active in WCEE and is a member of the Natural Gas Roundtable. Christine holds a bachelor's degree in Russian from Boston College and an MBA in Finance from the George Washington University.
