This is the ninth meeting of a series of breakfasts to be held in Mexico City under the auspices of the Gulf Coast Power Association (GCPA). On this occasion the Women's Energy Network -Chapter Mexico- has joined efforts with GCPA and launched a calling for this meeting. In this breakfast we will discuss the challenges and future perspectives on the implementation of the electricity reform, as well as the role of the CRE. Dr. Marcelino Madrigal was appointed Commissioner of the Mexican Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) in 2014. Previously, he was a Senior Energy Specialist at the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank. He also served as Chief of Staff at the Under Secretariat of Electricity at the Ministry of Energy (SENER) and Director of Regulatory Development of the CRE. Dr. Madrigal graduated from the Morelia Technology Institute and received the degrees of Master of Science by the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León and PhD by the University of Waterloo, Canada
