This is the fifteenth meeting of a series of breakfasts to be held in Mexico City under the auspices of the Gulf Coast Power Association (GCPA). In this breakfast we will discuss challenges and experiences in energy journalism and data research in Mexico.
 
David Crisostomo, Director, IHS Markit, Latin America Gas, Power and Energy Futures, is an expert in the Mexican gas and power markets. His research and analysis include gas and electricity market fundamentals, modelling, regulatory framework analysis and implications for business opportunities. Mr. Crisostomo’s research has included natural gas transportation studies, distributed power potential in Mexico and Latin America, power generation and transmission investment opportunities, asset valuations, and the analysis of operational and investment strategies for utilities, financial institutions and other market participants. Before joining IHS Markit he was at Iberdrola Spain, where he developed a power dispatch model taking into account key regulatory changes and the increasing penetration of renewable resources in the Spanish market. Mr. Crisostomo holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, an MSc in Engineering and Policy Analysis from the Delft University of Technology, and Master of the Electricity Sector from the Pontifical University Comillas in Madrid.

Non-Member Pricing: $47 USD/850 MXN

  • Pre-registration closes at 12 noon Thursday, August 29th. If registration is closed, walk-in registrants are welcome on a space-available basis at the event. There will be a $5/90 MXN surcharge for walk-in registrants.
