- To provide a means for all persons having an interest in electric power markets and emerging technologies to exchange information and ideas
- To provide a forum for discussion of industry-wide commercial, technical, and policy issues
- To promote a greater public understanding of competitive power markets
- To give recognition to those making significant impact the power industry in the ERCOT, MISO and SPP Regions.
