Recent advances in cloud computing and networking make it possible to manage an immense number of networked devices in real-time. The data sets created by these devices are thousands to millions of times larger than legacy data sets and result in both significant opportunities and challenges. This presentation will discuss approaches for leveraging the opportunities and managing the challenges of “Big Data” for energy management.
