"Griddy Energy’s Innovative Approach to Retail Electricity Service"

Griddy Energy is a disruptive tech-based energy retailer that uses an app-driven, subscription-based model for the delivery of both low-cost retail electricity and a rich array of useful member data.  For a $9.99 monthly fee, Griddy gives members direct access to the wholesale energy market without any markups.  With an investment from Electricite de France SA, Griddy plans to expand to multiple retail electricity markets across the U.S.  Join us at this month’s luncheon to hear from the CEO, Greg Craig, how this innovative business model is working for consumers.

Gregory Craig is a 25 year US energy industry veteran and noted Entrepreneur. Mr. Craig is currently co-founder and CEO of Griddy Energy, a disruptive tech-based energy retailer and first to market with an app-driven, real time wholesale, subscription-based model for retail electricity. Previously, he launched and helmed wholesale energy trader Cook Inlet Energy, growing it to over $3 billion in US revenue, ultimately selling it to Macquarie Bank to form their US wholesale operations. He went on to lead a successful business turnaround as Chairman and CEO of US Retailer Commerce Energy. Mr. Craig has served several US Energy Secretaries, and was a Presidential Appointee and 3 year advisor to US President Bill Clinton. Mr. Craig has been Chairman of the Board of the Price Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at UCLA for over 10 years where he is "Entrepreneur-in-Residence," and a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Junior Achievement.

Mr. Craig lives in Los Angeles, California and has one daughter, a senior in high school and international volleyball player for the U.S.

POLICY FOR NON PRE-PAID LUNCHEON REGISTRATIONS IN THE EVENT OF A SOLD-OUT LUNCHEON: In order to accommodate walk-ins at sold-out luncheons, any registrations that are not pre-paid during the online registration process will be held only until 11:55 AM for the original registrants. At 11:55 AM, any available non pre-paid seats will be released for purchase by walk-in registrants. Seats will be allocated to walk-in registrants based on the time of the walk-in registrants arrival. If a non pre-paid original registrant should arrive after 11:55 AM, they will be directed to register as a walk-in registrant and will be reallocated a seat only after all earlier arriving walk-ins have been seated.
